With a keen entrepreneurial spirit and relentless hard work, the Dotel family turned a modest dairy operation into one of the most trusted milk producers in the Kathmandu Valley. Within just three years, their herd had grown to 20 cows, a testament to their dedication and growing reputation. By the mid-1990s, Dotel Dairy had entered its prime. Its fresh and high-quality dairy products became a household favorite among Kathmandu residents. Anticipating rising demand, Yadu Krishna took a pioneering step: he began providing seed funding to local farmers, enabling them to raise cows and contribute to the dairy’s supply chain. This innovative approach not only ensured a steady flow of milk but also uplifted the economic status of countless farming families in the region. Today, spanning two generations and over 38 years of commitment, Dotel Dairy continues to uphold its founding values—quality, trust, and community. Dotel Dairy has been in continuous operation since 1987, founded by pioneering dairy farmer Yadu Krishna Dotel. This ensures a reliable supply of fresh raw milk—collected twice daily—and empowers local communities through shared growth. Over the past three decades, Dotel Dairy has expanded its operations beyond milk production.
